André Trigano vacation

Terms & Conditions

Les Étapes André Trigano
By making a reservation on the vacances-andretrigano.com website and its sub-domains, you are entering into a relationship with the company "Les Etapes André Trigano", a SAS with a share capital of 700,000 euros, registered with the RCS of Paris under number 420 175 903 and whose head office is located at 15 rue du Faubourg Montmartre in Paris (75009). These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to the Etapes André Trigano chain of campsites. Registration for one of the holidays offered on the various media implies full acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale below and of the campsite rules and regulations.

ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the terms and conditions under which LES ETAPES ANDRE TRIGANO, via its website (hereinafter referred to as the "Website" or "Site(s)" in the singular and plural) and its catalog (hereinafter referred to as "the Catalogue"), offers to rent to Customers accommodation and camping pitches in France and abroad (hereinafter referred to as the "Campsites").

The contract binding the Customer to the Company therefore comprises the following documents, presented in descending order of importance:

- The reservation request form completed by the Customer on the Site or sent to the reservation centre by e-mail or post, which is binding on the Company from the moment this form or any document replacing it has been expressly accepted in writing by the Company, (hereinafter referred to after acceptance as the "Reservation Form").

- The present General Sales Conditions

- The appendix "Charter for the protection of personal data of Customers and related parties".

Hereinafter together referred to as the Contract.

In the event of contradiction between one or more provisions in one of the above documents, the higher-ranking document takes precedence. In the event of contradiction between one or more provisions appearing in documents of the same level, the most recent shall prevail. The fact that a provision contained in an Appendix is not expressly mentioned in the body of the Contract does not mean that it contradicts the body of the Contract.

ARTICLE 2 - BOOKING CONDITIONS AND PAYMENT

Prices are subject to change. The campsite reserves the right to change prices at any time.

Stays will be invoiced on the basis of the rates in force on the day of booking, subject to availability.

We advise you to check the applicable rates on our website: www.vacances-andretrigano.com

Offers and promotions are non-retroactive and may not be cumulative.

1. Prices and price revision

Prices include :

- The provision of the Accommodation(s) concerned, fully equipped in accordance with the description given on the Website and in the Catalogue, access to reception facilities, entertainment, access to sanitary facilities and, unless otherwise stated, water, gas, electricity and parking space for one car for each Accommodation.

Prices do not include :

- Animal supplement (depending on campsite)

- The guarantor, with certain exceptions

- Optional equipment (cots, high chairs, towel kits, sheets...)

- Additional services (security wristbands, car badges, catering, additional seats...)

Certain additional facilities or services are bookable and pre-payable to ensure their availability on the customer's arrival. For all day visitors, the campsite may require payment of a visitor's tax. A campsite may not accept visitors, or the visitor fee may not grant access to all campsite services.

Tariffs will be revised during the 2025 season. They are not mentioned in the 2025 catalog. The available rate may be communicated by the reservation center, the host site or consulted on the website. Stays will be billed on the basis of the rates in force at the time of booking.

The prices indicated are in euros, VAT included. The Company will automatically pass on any modification or introduction of new legal or regulatory taxes to the prices indicated on the date of invoicing. These changes will be made without the customer being able to object. Promotional offers are never retroactive and may not be combined with any other discount or promotion. Please note that, in accordance with article L. 121-21-8 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal provided for in article L. 121-21 of the French Consumer Code does not apply to accommodation and leisure services.

2. Tourist tax and surcharges

The amount of the provision for the tourist tax per day and per person over 18 years of age is not included in the price of the stay (with the exception of the prices indicated for some plots mentioned in the catalog). The tax is payable directly on arrival at the site.

The amounts announced are provisional. In the event of an increase in the tourist tax, the customer will pay the amount corresponding to the tax in force on the day of arrival at the campsite.

The taxe de séjour is collected on behalf of the communes and may be increased by an additional departmental tax.

In addition to the tourist tax, an eco-participation tax may also be collected on certain campsites (the amount of these taxes will be displayed at the campsite reception).

Regardless of whether you choose a bare pitch or rental accommodation, additional charges may apply for extra vehicles (car, trailer, motorcycle, boat, etc.) where these may be authorized, as well as for extra tents, pets, visitors, etc.
All these rates can be found in the camper-caravanner rates section on the www.vacances-andretrigano.com website and at the entrance to each campsite concerned.

3. Terms of payment

All firm reservation requests from the Customer must be made in writing, either by :

- Booking directly on the website;

- By sending the duly completed Reservation Contract, in the case of reservations made by email or telephone, to the Reservation Center;

- Going directly to the campsite

The Customer must also pay the following amounts:

- A deposit of 25% of the rental price or the full amount of the reservation.

- Any additional services.

- Cancellation insurance premium (if applicable).

- The full cost of the stay if booked less than thirty (30) days before arrival.

This reservation is only contractually binding on receipt by the Customer of a confirmation issued by the Company.

For bookings made 50 or 40 days before the arrival date, a deposit of 25% must be paid at the time of booking, followed by the balance 30 days before the arrival date.

If the reservation is made more than 90 days before the date of arrival, the customer has the option of paying the total amount of the stay, including the rental price, any ancillary services purchased and cancellation insurance if taken out, in 4 instalments without charge, in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

- A deposit comprising 25% of the total rental price, the full amount of cancellation insurance if taken out, and all ancillary services if taken out.

- 25% of the total rental amount 90 days prior to arrival;

- 25% of the total rental amount 60 days prior to arrival;

- 25% of the total rental amount 30 days prior to arrival.

The balance of the stay must be paid at least 30 days before the start of the stay, except for last-minute bookings. If the balance is not received by the above-mentioned deadline, the stay is considered to have been cancelled by the customer, and the full amount of the stay remains due.

4. Last-minute reservations

The customer can book on the Vacances André Trigano website up to 12 noon on the day of arrival. After this date, it is essential to contact the campsite directly to check availability of pitches or accommodation.

All bookings made less than thirty (30) days before the scheduled arrival date must be paid in full by credit card or bank transfer only. Proof of payment will be requested by fax or email within 48 hours.

5. Accepted means of payment

The following methods of payment are accepted for both the deposit and the balance of the booking:

- French bank and postal cheques, except for payments made within thirty (30) days of arrival or on site.

- ANCV vacation vouchers (If this method of payment is used, it is advisable to send the completed vouchers to the Company by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by any other secure means).

Only vacation vouchers actually received will be counted. It is the customer's responsibility to check the number of cheques before sending. The Company reserves the right to request payment of the missing amount.

The Company cannot be held responsible for the non-receipt of ANCV cheques. The service remains due until payment is acknowledged by the Company, by credit card or bank transfer.

In the event of payment by ANCV vacation vouchers, no refund will be made and no change will be given for any overpayment.

6. Vacation vouchers and employer subsidies

The company, incorporated as an SAS, does not hold any of the ministerial approvals usually issued to associations (which do not have the characteristics of "gîtes, Maison, family campsites"), so "vacation vouchers" cannot be accepted as a method of payment. Please contact your Caisse d'Allocations Familiales to find out if you are entitled to reimbursement. For the same reasons, we invite you to contact your Social Action Department or Works Council before registering, to find out about their conditions for awarding vacation subsidies.

7. Offers for rental accommodation

The Company proposes offers for the reservation of rental accommodation, only valid on certain campsites.

- DUO offer: Preferential rate for 7 consecutive nights in low season*, in a 2-bedroom 3/6-person air-conditioned mobile home**, occupied by a maximum of 2 adults (or accompanied by children under 7), cannot be combined with any other promotional offer.

**or other 2-bedroom accommodation referred to the campsite

Special conditions apply to certain Works Councils. When booking online, enter "DUO" in the Promotion Code field.

This offer is not valid for bookings made on a "Étape André Trigano" partner site.

On arrival, if the group includes more than 2 adults or children over the age of
7, a supplement will be payable on site.

Please note: children under 7 must be mentioned in the "Comments" section.

- LONG STAYS offer: depending on campsite (applicable to rentals and camping pitches)

- 5% discount for stays of 14 to 20 consecutive nights

- 10% discount for stays of 21 nights or more

The offer is valid for bookings for consecutive nights, on the same campsite and in the same accommodation, throughout the campsite's opening period. It is calculated on the rental amount. This offer is not valid for bookings on a "Etapes André Trigano" partner site.

8. Customer identification

Reservations are strictly personal. Under no circumstances may you sublet or transfer your reservation.

At the time of booking, the Customer is obliged to communicate the surnames, first names and dates of birth of each person accommodated.

The campsite reserves the right to refuse any person not registered at the time of booking. The customer must be one of the persons accommodated. For reasons of safety and insurance, the capacity of the accommodation may not be exceeded. Babies under 2 years of age must be included in the maximum capacity indicated, including their own bed.

ARTICLE 3 - LIABILITY

1. Campsite liability

During their stay, customers are covered by the company's civil liability insurance for any bodily injury or material damage for which the company is held responsible.

The Company may not be held liable for any erroneous information communicated by third parties relating to the items mentioned in any of the marketing media (e.g. catalog, website) used by the Company.

All photos and texts used on all media are non-contractual. They are subject to change without notice. The Company may not be held responsible for changes to dates, schedules or itineraries, or for the cancellation or modification of part of the program caused by external events such as strikes, technical incidents, bad weather, epidemics, flight changes or any other case of force majeure, the actions of third parties not involved in the provision of the services provided for in the Contract, or the poor performance of the Contract attributable to the subscriber.

As a general rule, any activity, whether free of charge or subject to a charge, mentioned on all media may, in certain circumstances beyond the Company's control and/or due to force majeure, be modified or cancelled at the time of the Customer's arrival. The Company cannot be held responsible for such situations, nor can they be used to cancel a stay. Infrastructures which are at the project stage are mentioned for information purposes on all our media. In the event that, for reasons beyond the Company's control and/or due to force majeure, these infrastructures cannot be completed in time for the season in question, the Company cannot be held liable. The Company undertakes to inform its customers in real time of the infrastructures accessible on the www.vacances-andretrigano.com website.

The Company shall in no way be held liable for any incident arising from services purchased directly on site by the Customer from an external service provider or resulting from the Customer's personal initiative.

2. Customer's responsibility

On arrival at the campsite, caravanning campers are required to present valid insurance cover for their caravan, tent and/or equipment, covering in particular third-party liability. The company accepts no liability for theft or damage to personal belongings. Our civil liability does not cover theft or damage to tents, caravans and their contents. Furthermore, the company cannot be held responsible for theft or damage to campers' personal belongings. Please note that the parking lots are not guarded, and that parking is therefore at the user's own risk.

The contractual customer of the accommodation or pitch undertakes to use, and to ensure that the persons accompanying him/her use, the equipment and facilities of the campsites in accordance with their intended purpose and normal use. In particular, he undertakes to leave his accommodation or pitch in good condition when he leaves at the end of his stay. Any damage to the premises, or loss or destruction of furnishings in rental accommodation or public buildings on campsites, automatically renders the person responsible liable. The contractual customer of an accommodation or pitch is considered personally responsible for any damage, loss, deterioration, disturbance or nuisance caused by persons staying with him or visiting him. The contractual customer of the accommodation or pitch acknowledges having read the campsite rules and regulations, and undertakes to respect them and to ensure that they are respected by any persons accompanying or visiting him/her. If a customer disturbs or causes nuisance to other customers, or affects the integrity of shared facilities, the campsite reserves the right to immediately terminate the customer's stay without payment of any compensation, and without prejudice to any claims for compensation that the campsite or third parties may have against the customer.

The same would apply if the campsite were to observe abusive occupation of the accommodation (number of occupants greater than the authorized capacity of the rental). The customer certifies that he/she has a civil liability policy with his/her insurer covering damage caused to rented or entrusted property (provide certificate).

ARTICLE 4 - CANCELLATION INSURANCE

Electricity is included in the rates for all campsites managed by Les Etapes André Trigano. Additional costs (extra person, extra car, double axle, etc.) are not included in the package and will be added to it.

Arrival and departure times vary from campsite to campsite. It is possible to extend your stay on site, subject to availability.

2. Rental accommodation

Depending on the destination, in high season, rental accommodation is booked from Saturday to Saturday.

Unless otherwise specified for "Etapes André Trigano" partner campsites, access to accommodation is only permitted from 4pm on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Rental accommodation can be booked for a minimum of 2 to 7 nights, depending on the campsite and the period.

The interior layout and equipment may vary from one campsite to another, for the same package.

Your wishes for a specific pitch or accommodation on the campsite are possible for a supplement of 50 € (special request possible up to D-30 of arrival, prepaid and confirmed by the head office as soon as the sites open).

This offer is not valid for bookings made on a "Etapes André Trigano" partner site.

ARTICLE 6 - CHANGE OF STAY

1. Customer-initiated modifications

During the same season, the customer may change the dates, location or type of stay at any VAT campsite or

VAT stages (subject to availability and capacity).

Any such change must be notified in writing (letter, e-mail, fax) to the reservation center or to the campsite, depending on the booking method. All sums already paid for the current reservation will be transferred to the new reservation. After an initial request to modify a stay, any new modification will incur a fee of twenty-five (25) €.

In the event that the price of the new reservation is lower than the price of the initial reservation, the difference between the two stays will be refunded to the Customer, except in the case of modifications made less than thirty (30) days before the arrival date.

If the new stay is more expensive, the difference between the two bookings must be paid by the customer, by credit card, on the date of the change to the stay and at the rate in force at the time of the initial booking.

The customer's attention is drawn to the fact that the advantages and promotions offered by the Company subsequent to the initial reservation cannot be applied to a fully or partially paid reservation, with the exception of a modification linked to the number of occupants.

The same applies in the event of a change to the stay; the date and amount of the first reservation will apply.

At any time, the customer may add options (additional person for camping pitches, etc.) to the initial booking, subject to the campsite's availability.

2. Changes caused by the Company

In the event that the holiday is modified before it begins, due to
La Société, the Customer may :

- or cancel, in which case the booking department will refund all payments already made (including booking fees and any insurance taken out);

- agree to participate in the modified holiday. If this modification results in a reduction or an increase in the price of the holiday, the Company will cover this difference in price, either by refunding the difference to the Customer, or by covering the increase in the price of the holiday.

ARTICLE 7 - LATE ARRIVAL, EARLY DEPARTURE

In the event of late arrival or early departure, in relation to the dates mentioned on the booking form, the total amount of the stay reserved will remain due. The customer will not be entitled to any reimbursement for the part of the stay not taken due to late arrival or early departure.

ARTICLE 8 - CANCELLATION OF A STAY

The Company retains 25% of the total rental amount, the handling fee and the amount of the cancellation insurance.

In the event of the use of a gift box, the full value of the gift box will be retained by the Company.

- less than 30 days before the start of your stay :

The Company retains the full amount of the stay. Cancellation costs may be covered by the cancellation guarantees offered.

3. Due to the Company

- Before departure: when a cancellation occurs on the part of the Company, even though the stay has been the subject of a firm reservation and/or confirmation of stay, for reasons of force majeure, weather conditions, events leading to total or partial destruction, total or partial administrative closure, delay in work due to bad weather or other reasons, putting out of use of elements essential to the operation of the Campsite, security risks, external events or if the Campsite is deemed unfit for opening by the company's management, for any of the sites listed in the Catalogue and Internet site or any other Catalogue and Internet site, the Customer will be notified by registered letter or e-mail if available, and will then receive a full refund up to the amount paid. Such cancellation shall not, however, give rise to the payment of damages.

As far as possible and within the limits of available stays, periods, products and destinations, the Company will, if the Customer so wishes, propose alternative solutions. In the event of differences between the price paid and the price of the new proposal, the difference will be reimbursed if it results in a price reduction, and the difference will be paid by the Company if it results in a price increase.

Any other charges are excluded and any request for reimbursement or payment in this respect will not be considered.

- During the stay: when the stay is interrupted by the Company for reasons of force majeure, weather conditions, total or partial administrative closure, disabling of elements essential to the operation of the establishment, security risk, external events, the campsite management will draw up a letter to be delivered personally to the customer certifying that the stay has been cut short. The customer will be reimbursed prorata temporis for the unused portion of the stay.

As far as possible and within the limits of available stays, periods, products and destinations, the Company will, if the Customer so wishes, propose alternative solutions. ARTICLE 9 - SECURITY DEPOSIT

The deposit is required on arrival and will be returned at the end of the stay, or within a week of the customer's departure at the latest.

The method of payment of the deposit will be indicated in the customer's file. The deposit is payable either by two separate cheques, or by credit card imprint, depending on the campsite facilities, or in cash. In the case of deposits made by credit card, the campsite cannot be held responsible for any delay in the return of the deposit by the bank.

-For rented accommodation without sanitary facilities: €325 / €250 in the event of damage to the accommodation and €75 for cleaning.

-For rental accommodation with sanitary facilities: €345 / €250 in the event of damage to the accommodation and €95 for cleaning.

-For rentals with 2 bathrooms: 360 € / 250 € in case of damage and 110 € for cleaning.

Some campsites also require a deposit of around twenty euros (€20) for the badge opening the entrance gate.

This sum may be retained in whole or in part by the Company in the event of damage to the accommodation and its contents and/or equipment on the campsite, and noted during the contradictory inventory of fixtures on departure. Similarly, if the sheets, blankets or comforters supplied with the accommodation are not returned or are damaged, all or part of the deposit may be retained. The Company may also deduct the amount corresponding to the cleaning costs if it is found at the time of the same contradictory inventory of fixtures that the cleaning has not been carried out at the end of the stay.

If the inventory of fixtures on departure is in conformity with the inventory of fixtures on arrival, the Company will return to the Customer the deposit cheques or any credit card imprint at the latest within a week of departure, and the sums paid in cash will be returned at the end of the stay.

ARTICLE 10 - RECEPTION OF GROUPS OF MINORS

Minors not accompanied by their parents or legal guardians are not allowed on campsites.

If the conditions governing the supervision of groups of minors are not respected, or if the relevant declarations to which the organizers are subject are not sent on time, the Company reserves the right to cancel or suspend the stay of any group of minors.

Any group of minors arriving at the campsite reception and failing to comply with the above conditions will have their reservation cancelled. Consequently, the cancellation conditions set out in article 8.2 apply.

The customer undertakes to respect the hygiene and environment of the campsite. On arrival, the customer must present up-to-date vaccination certificates for animals, which must be tattooed or chipped. Pets are also forbidden around swimming pools, in restaurants and food shops.
