Fun activities
Camping activities for children or teenagers, such as swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking or cycling, are often very popular with young campers. What's more, camping can offer children a variety of new experiences and skills to help open up their curiosity. Together with their camp counselor, they'll share happy, funny moments that they'll remember for a long time.
Depending on the season and the region, the children's activities on offer at our campsites are great fun.

Lively evenings
No more sleeping in at 8pm, children will be able to experience starlit evenings, musical atmospheres, the dance floor or the beach volleyball tournament by the light of lanterns on the beach.
When you go on vacation to a campsite, you grow up, discover a thousand things different from home, explore life in society, imagine yourself a star for a night or a lifetime, meet up with friends for a game of soccer in the dark of night,...
Learning to respect nature
Camping is often seen as an excellent way for young people to learn to respect nature and take care of the environment. When they're out in nature, children can also learn to feel more at ease in a natural environment. This can be a very liberating experience for them, helping them to feel better about themselves on a daily basis.
For example, on a summer camping vacation, we can teach them to respect nature by focusing on these 3 common-sense points:
- Turn off tap water:
For those sleeping in tents, access to a tap has to be earned. Indeed, you have to move to a communal toilet block to realize just how precious a resource water is.
For those who choose to sleep in a mobile home, turning off the tap water when brushing their teeth, for example, is an eco-friendly gesture.
- Turning off the light :
Campsites are increasingly equipped with timers or solar systems for communal lighting. In these natural environments, children discover alternatives to their everyday habits.
- Recycling waste:
Green, yellow or blue, reusable household sorting bags are campers' best allies. Easy to use, children can easily empty the sorting bags into the large coloured bins provided at campsites.
To the delight of young and old alike, some campsites have chickens fed with selected food scraps.
